Who is Thea?
Author, Baker, and Chicken Tender (because I tend to chickens. Get it? I crack myself up!) are just a few of my titles. Aside from corny jokes and desserts, I love creating things. Whether it's a new recipe, a crochet project, or art with small humans, if I am making something, I am happy.
I live in a very old little house in the Appalachian Mountains with my family and a menagerie of animals. The woods are my happy place, inspiring the settings to many of my stories.
With an overactive imagination and a mind riddled with ADHD, I write fantasy stories that take readers into worlds of magic where anything can happen!
Stories used to be an escape for me. As a kid, in a world that didn't care and certainly didn't understand, I created my own fantasy world where I felt like I belonged.
Years later I have found my place and the people with whom I belong. Now, I write to honor the stories that helped me through the hard parts of growing up, and to share them with others who might feel the same way.
These stories are meant for anyone who has ever felt like they don’t quite fit in.
